3 recipes using corn: corn cheese, addictive corn bar and fried corn with a Chinese yam (초당옥수수를 활용한 콘치즈, 마약옥수수 그리고 옥수수 튀김)

 

Corn cheese(콘치즈)

Ingredients: butter 10g, red paprika 70g, crab meat 100g, onion 90g, mozzarella cheese 210g, corn 160g, mayonnaise 7s, condensed milk 1s, parsley,

1. Chop red paprika, crab meat and onion up

2. Put 1, mozzarella cheese, corn mayonnaise and condensed milk into a bowl and mix them altogether

3. Put 2 in a buttered skillet and sprinkle 140g of mozzarella cheese. 

4. Cover 3 with a paper foil and fry them for 4 minutes and 30 seconds in a medium heat 

5. Remove the paper foil and sprinkle a parsley on it


Fried corn (옥수수 튀김)

Ingredients: corn 160g, Chinese yam 150g, flour 90g, corn starch 10g, water 2/3 cup, oil 500ml, paper towel, salt

1. Chop Chinese yam up 

2. Put corn, sliced Chinese yam, flour, corn starch and water into a bowl and mix them altogether

3. Plunge them in a preheated oil 

4. Fry them for 2 minutes in a medium high heat

5. Place them on a paper towel to remove an oil 

6. Sprinkle a pinch of salt


Addictive corn bar (마약옥수수)

Ingredients: butter 10g, corn 1, micro torch, paprika powder, Parmesan powder, parsley powder

1. Butter the pan 

2. Grill the corn with a skewer for 5 minutes

3. Burn the outside using a torch

4. Sprinkle paprika powder, Parmesan powder and parsley powder

Korean Side Dishes using cucumber, seaweed and burdock( 미역줄기볶음, 우엉조림 오이무..




Seasoned Cucumber (오이무침)
Ingredients: cucumber 400g, onion 110g, chili powder 2s, sesame 1ts, salt 1ts, vinegar 2s, red pepper paste 1s, oligosaccharide 3s
1. Slice cucumber and onion 
2. Put 1 in a bowl and add chili powder, sesame, salt, vinegar, red pepper paste and oligosaccharide
3. Mix them altogether using hands


Stir fried seaweed (미역줄기 볶음)
Ingredients: oil 1s, salted seaweed 300g, garlic 1s, carrot 40g, onion 110g, cooking wine 2s, sugar 1s, sesame oil 1ts, sesame 1ts
1. Wash salted seaweed with a running water for 3 times. 
2. Slice them into several parts
3. Put 1 table spoon of oil in a pan and stir them with a garlic, carrot and onion in a medium heat for 2 minutes and 30 seconds
4. Put a trimmed seaweed, cooking wine and sugar and stir them for 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
5. Turn off the heat and add a sesame oil and sesame and mix them altogether


Burdock boiled down in a soy sauce (우엉조림)
Ingredients: burdock 160g, oil 1s, wild sesame oil 1s, garlic 1ts, soy sauce 1.5s, starch syrup 1s, black sugar 1s, water 1/2 cup, sesame 1ts, sesame oil 1ts 
1. Slice the burdock into a bite size
2. Stir sliced burdock in a medium heat with a oil and wild sesame oil for 1 minute
3. Stir 2 for 1 more minute and pour half cup of water
4. Simmer 3 for 8 minutes in a medium heat.
5. Put sesame and sesame oil and mix them altogether
